This past weekend, twenty fabulous girls competed for the title of Miss Tropicana Rose. These stunning falcons were required to gracefully navigate Northwood High School’s stage wearing a casual outfit and formal wear; after being narrowed down to top ten, the final contestants answered an on stage question to determine the pageant queen. For formal wear, our girls were accompanied by five handsome ushers who also performed for the audience: Carson Wall, Mason Welch, Jonathan Holt, Jayden Williams, and Nevin Oliver. Tropicana Rose 2020: Rhinestone Cowgirl was most definitely a success with Haley Belle Hearron as the new reigning Tropicana Rose. Additionally, Haley was awarded with Best Introduction and Best Dress. Mackenzie Miller was awarded First Runner Up and People’s Choice, Kinsey Smith earned second runner up while Gracie Dupont received third runner up. Kadence Peal was voted Miss Congeniality by her peers, and Addison Bankard won Best Casual Wear. Our top ten finalists consisted of Haley Hearron, Jasmine Scott, Jenna Moore, Abigail McCollister, Addison Bankard, Kadence Peal, Kinsey Smith, Mackenzie Miller, Gracie Dupont, and Lauryn Broussard. Tropicana Rose was a fun evening for all and we are looking forward to Haley’s reign this year. Congratulations, girls!
